Whether we like it or not, Kristin Cavallari (25) is famous.

I personally like it. I've found her interesting since her days on Laguna Beach. Didn't love her on The Hills, but was nevertheless intrigued by her. Was disappointed when she was booted off Dancing with the Stars way too early....

While her "frenemy," Lauren Conrad has made the most out of her reality TV career by writing bestselling YA novels and creating fashion lines, Kristin Cavalleri has, it seems, gotten pregnant.

I'm definitely not suggesting she got pregnant to become famous (thought, it's arguable that some celebrities do that, alas). But there's been talk around the Today's Parent office lately about how pregnancy has catapulted some stars into A-list celebrity status. Jennifer Garner has probably led the pack. Since marrying Ben Affleck and being a model mom in the magazines, her career and image (her brand) have skyrocketed. But she was loveable and, I would say, extremely talented to begin with.

Jessica Alba is another celebrity who's pregnancies have afforded her some staying power, Hilary Duff, Tori Spelling, even Alicia Silverstone, Jessica Simpson....

And now it's Kristin Cavallari's turn. The reality star has not shied away from the influx of paparazzi love. She's been in countless photos like this one (above, with fiance Jay Cutler) lately, just beaming from all the attention. She is super gorj. So it'll be neat to see how she BLOOMS.
