Brad Pitt's tortoise-shell shades: Yea or nay?

It's been a while since we had any hot daddy eye candy. And that's all this is. Hot. Daddy. Eye candy. Take a moment to soak this in -- Brad Pitt looking uber suaaaave at the Cannes Film Festival photo call for his new flick Tree of Life (yesterday)....

But something's distracting me. I can't quite put my finger on it. It's not the low-cut V-neck and the drape-y gold jewelry -- because, actually, quite hot. No. It's gotta be the shades.

Gorgeouses, we need a closeup on the tortoise-shell shades....

I don't know I don't know! I think I need you to chime in here. On the one hand, I like my Brad a wee brootish -- not so metrosexual with the fashion. But, on the other hand, he seems to get away with anything because, you know, he's so darn gorj. Plus it's the Cannes Film Festival, which is kind of a lot about going crazy with the fashion. And I don't blame him for showing off that chest  -- yowza!
