At the farmers' market: Jillian Michaels & family

Aww, check out celebrity trainer (Biggest Loser and 30-Day Shred whip-cracker) Jillian Michaels, 38, her partner, Heidi Rhoades, 31, and their two kids, Lukensia, 2.5, and 2-month-old Phoenix at a farmers' market in Malibu, California, earlier this week.

Like most celeb families it seems, this family loves the Farmers' market. Jillian looked comfy in ripped jeans and a lightening-bolt sweatshirt — which makes me think, as I sit here in the sweltering heat of my Toronto home (alas), that it must be blissfully cool in California these days? Heidi carried baby Phoenix in an unidentified baby carrier (anyone know what brand that is?). And cutie Lukensia looked totally hip in an "addicted to love" tee, leggings and cool sneakers.

Gosh, I wish I had a farmers' market near me. It's such a great way to get your kids involved in what they're eating — from farm to plate! We are taking a trip to my Josh-O's parents' farm soon, and my kids learn a lot about growing vegetables there. Apparently, they've got chickens there too, now! I'll keep you posted....
