Arnold Schwarzenegger & Maria Shriver split

I heard the news this morning, and was mildly shocked, but haven't gotten to it until now because my children have been high maintenance. FYI.

"After a great deal of thought, reflection, discussion and prayer, we came to this decision," they said in statement.

Arnold and Maria also said that they're working on their relationship while living separately, and that they plan to co-parent their four children (ages 14, 18, 20 and 21) this way for now.

"This has been a time of great personal and professional transition for each of us," Arnold's rep said in a statement for both of them.

Arnold just completed a his 7th and final year as California governor in January. So the timing of the split kind of makes sense.

25 years. Wow.... Well, we wish them all the best.
