New parents, Anna Faris and Chris Pratt, appear to be in good spirits in NICU — cracking jokes on Twitter and spending time together.
Anna Faris, 35, was reportedly due in the fall, and she and hubby Chris Pratt, 33, welcomed their first child, Jack, just this past weekend — and announced that they were spending some time in NICU.
I have to say I've been a bit worried about them because being in the NICU isn't normally a "happy" situation for anyone, despite what their "happy" statement said.
But I'm happy to announce it looks like Chris, Anna and Jack are doing just fine; as you can see from Chris's recent tweets, his sense of humour is definitely in tact — a great sign.
Chris took to Twitter the day after Jack's birth to make the big announcement and thank his followers for their well wishes, and he cracked a silly joke that would make his Parks and Recreation fans and costars proud.
"It's a boy!" Chris tweeted. "Thanks for all your kind words. In lieu of gifts we ask that you mouth kiss a stranger."
Haha! Ewww....
Also, apparently, Chris's been watching a lot of old movies, which new parents tend to do....
"So 'Tango and Cash' is terrible," he tweeted. "I gotta stop watching movies I loved as a kid. They don't ever hold up. #MoviesThatDontHoldUp."
Wow, Tango and Cash, huh? When your kids were newborns, did you watch a lot of old movies and bad TV? I sure did...3 a.m. feeds...? Definitely.
Chris and Anna have also been spotted walking their dog together between NICU visits. Hope they get to bring Jack home soon!
Love! xo Haley-O
