My baby name prediction was wrong, Gorgeouses! Unlike some other celebs lately, Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck did NOT go crazy with their son's name! Are you ready for it?
SAMUEL GARNER AFFLECK!
Aww, they named him Samuel. Such a beautiful, biblical, ordinary name — quite unlike big sisters Violet (6) and Seraphina's (3) names!
The news of baby Samuel's name comes straight from Ben Affleck's Facebook page. Ben writes: “We are happy to announce on February 27, Jennifer gave birth to a healthy baby boy, Samuel Garner Affleck."
According to our trusty baby namer tool, Samuel means "Heard of God" or "asked of God," and its origin is, of course, biblical.
