And Canada's first ever Bachelor is....28-year-old CFL free agent, from Hudson, Quebec, Brad Smith!

Citytv made the big reveal live on Breakfast Television this morning. Brad's going to be the first guy to have a bunch of soon-to-be-revealed bachelorettes fighting for his looove in this first-ever Canadian version of the hit ABC show.

Filming begins SOON, and the show airs this fall.

"I'm just going to take every day as it comes to me and have a blast," Brad told CityLine's Tracy Moore.
