Tom Hardy just blessed moms on the Internet with the best Mother's Day gift ever

Sure, handmade cards and breakfast in bed are great, but Tom Hardy just gave every mom on the internet the Mother's Day gift they really want: Some alone time listening to him recite yet another bedtime story, but this time, on Mother's Day!

After the huge response to his New Year’s Eve and Valentine’s Day bedtime story reads, Tom decided to bless internet moms everywhere with another episode that will fall on Sunday, March 26, which is Mother’s Day in the U.K. As for us North American moms, we’ll be happy to accept it as the ultimate, belated Mother’s Day gift from our favourite British babe. And we're not gonna lie, we're kind of jelly that Tom's two kids get to experience him reading bedtime stories all the time.

The hosting network CBeebies announced the segment via Twitter and—as expected—the mums on the social media network went wild.

Can't wait until Mother's Day? Well, get your fuzziest onesie ready because Tom Hardy is going to read us—I mean the kids—There’s A Bear On My Chair by Ross Collins this weekend. But let’s be real: He could be reading The Complete History Of Rice Cakes and we’d still tune in. The commercial for the segment definitely has us extra excited: “I’ll see you soon for another bedtime story. Till then, night night.” Can you say swoon?
