Yo ho, yo ho a pirate's life for me. After watching the new teaser for the Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales, we can already tell the next instalment of the saga is going to be epic.
But what may be even more epic is the new Lego Pirates of the Caribbean set that was just announced! The Lego set is based off of one of the ghost ships featured in the movie. The Silent Mary is made with over 2,200 pieces and this super-detailed model has all the requirements for a functioning, spooky Lego ship: a hinged bow section, an opening skeleton hull, a movable rudder, collapsible main mast and two further masts, tattered sails, a detailed quarterdeck, a stowaway rowboat with two oars...you get the picture, it's basically like a real pirate ship in your living room.
And what's a ship without its crew (and enemies)? This set includes eight minifigures, including everyone's favourite pirate, Captain Jack Sparrow, along with Henry, Carina, Lieutenant Lesaro, Captain Salazar, Officer Magda, Officer Santos and the Silent Mary Masthead.

On board you'll find two grey swords, three black swords, a pistol and the Silent Mary Masthead's shield and sword elements. When you're ready to fight, all your kid has to do is lift the hinged bow and open the skeleton hull to switch from sailing mode to attack mode. The Silent Mary Lego set also includes other miscellaneous accessories such as a compass, sextant, monocular, two brooms, a ship-in-a-bottle and features Lego-versions of props from the film like Captain Salazar’s hairpiece and the Galileo Diary.

The Silent Mary lego set is intended for kids ages 14 and older, will retail for $250 and will be in stores and online at shop.lego.com.
