If you're a bad guy in Edmonton, you better watch out—because Spider-Mable is on the case!

Mable is six years old and has been fighting acute lymphoblastic leukaemia since 2013. To help get through her treatments, Mable would read comic books: Classic Spider-Man tales from the 1960s are her favourites, of course!

But since Mable is almost done her treatment and is getting better (hooray!), she gets a special surprise from the Children's Wish Foundation. In a costume made by her mom and with Spider-Man by her side, Mable gets to be a superhero for the day and save Edmonton from a big-bad villain.

Starting at 7 a.m. this morning, Mable heard a newscast of some strange happenings occurring in the city. Don't fret Edmontonians, Spider-Mable is on the case.

She's off to City Hall to hear a plea for help from the Mayor. And to get some special superpowers.

Oh no! Edmonton Oilers captain Andrew Ference has been kidnapped. Help, Spider-Mable, you must find him quick before the puck drops.

Good thing Spider-Mable is on the case.  She already has a suspect.
