Shakira is expecting her second child

Shakira is pregnant!

Yes, the multiple Grammy award-winning singer, whose famous hips don't lie, is expecting her second child with boyfriend Gerard Piqué. Shakira, 37, announced the big news on her Facebook page.

“Yes, we are expecting our second baby!!" she posted Thursday. "Thank you for all your well wishes!”

Actually, the news first broke in the September issue of Cosmopolitan en Español (Shakira's on the cover).

“Well, yes, the truth is that, yes, I am pregnant,” she tells the mag.

Shakira and soccer star Gerard, who met at the 2010 World Cup, are also parents to son Milan, 19 months. And it looks like this is just the beginning for the family. "If it weren’t because of my music projects, I would be pregnant already," she told Latina Magazine back in April. "I would love to have eight or nine kids with Gerard—my own fútbol team."

The "Hips Don't Lie" singer says motherhood has changed how she sees the world. "Everything is different," she tells Cosmo. "Maybe the biggest change is that I think about the future more, what the world will be like for him when he grows up."
