Ryan Reynolds, at your cervix! In a recent GQ segment, the 40-year-old actor and new dad to his second daughter with Blake Lively, provided some helpful tips for dads in the delivery room, like "Be in the room."

He covers everything from how you should capture the moment to what not to say to your partner while she's pushing your baby out. He's hilariously spot-on with most of his tips, and I'm sure many women will agree with him on some, if not all. If you'll be giving birth sometime in the near future, we advise you to show your partner this video beforehand.

Wise words, Reynolds. We bet his tips went over well with Blake after he slipped and revealed the gender of their new baby, which she wasn't too pleased about.

We especially love the part where he advises that, in the delivery room, “you’re pretty much the least important thing in the room. It’s gonna go your wife, your baby, the doctor, a nurse, a doula if you have one… the air.” Ah, yes, the air. Definitely more important than the other person responsible for creating this new life.

Gentleman, take notes. But don't worry, we're sure your experience in the delivery room after watching this will be "better than ever!" As long as you refrain from taking photos of your baby crowning, you'll do great.
