Rachel Bilson and Hayden Christensen have welcomed a baby girl, and the name they gave her is straight out of a fairy tale.

The actors, both 33, have welcomed their first child. Us Weekly was the first to report the news—saying they have confirmation from several sources.

The most interesting part about this news is the baby's name! Yes, Hayden and Rachel named their daughter right after a fairy-tale princess: Briar Rose (the name the three fairies give Princess Aurora, in Sleeping Beauty, to protect her from Maleficent).

Oh bygones, we couldn't resist having some fun with the fairy-tale name on this giddy, rainy Thursday night.
Rachel and Hayden met on the set of the movie Jumper, in 2007, and announced their engagement in December 2008, broke the engagement in August 2010, and then got back together that November. News of Rachel's pregnancy emerged last May.
