Pink: Mama, why are you so squishy? Because I'm happy, Baby

When the singer received a string of tweets attacking her weight gain, she fought back with pure positivity.

Last weekend, singer Pink was attacked on Twitter after she was photographed attending the 30th Annual John Wayne Odyssey Ball at the Regent Beverly Wilshire Hotel in Beverly Hills, California on April 11, 2015 (above). Apparently, many of her followers were concerned about her weight.

Since then, she's been retweeting some of the ugly tweets, sharing positive tweets about the "squishy" but "badass" post-baby body, and—indeed, we'd expect nothing less from the singer—she fought back with her own tweets, one of which featured a screenshot of an open letter to her "good and concerned peoples":

I can see that some of you are concerned about me from your comments about my weight. You’re referring to the pictures of me from last night’s cancer benefit that I attended to support my dear friend Dr. Maggie DiNome. She was given the Duke Award for her tireless efforts and stellar contributions to the eradication of cancer. But unfortunately, my weight seems much more important to some of you. While I admit that the dress didn’t photograph as well as it did in my kitchen, I will also admit that I felt very pretty. In fact, I feel beautiful. So, my good and concerned peoples, please don’t worry about [me]. I’m not worried about me. And I’m not worried about you either :)… I am perfectly fine, perfectly happy, and my healthy, voluptuous and crazy strong body is having some much deserved time off. Thanks for your concern. Love, cheesecake.”

She also posted this awesome tweet featuring a photo of herself with her three-year-old daughter, Willow (with hubby Carey Hart)...

And she shared a photo of herself with her supportive hubby looking lovey-dovey at the event, along with this quintessential Pink tweet...

The best part of this whole thing is the way the singer fought back against all the negativity with positive tweets and retweets. We  you, Pink!
