One hilarious note + Bruce Springsteen = best excuse for missing school!

To explain why his twelve-year-old daughter, Isabelle, was late for school, Patrick Pipino wrote an honest and hilarious letter. You see teach, Isabelle was tired after a night of dancing in the dark. Yep, she spent her night watching Bruce Springsteen.

According to the witty late note, Isabelle had seen Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band the night before and they played for over three hours. No wonder the poor girl was unable to make it to school on time!

Clearly a huge fan, Patrick managed to cleverly emphasize the importance of missing a bit of school for Springsteen. For some, he says, it would be like missing school "if God were to suddenly appear."
