When your baby is upset, you gotta do what you gotta do—even if you're in the middle of getting married.
Thirty-year-old Christina Torino-Benton, a Montreal mom, got married on June 18 and her wedding was in a sweltering church. Baby Gemma, nine months, started to fuss (as we all do in the heat!), so mom scooped her up and started nursing mid ceremony. No one batted an eye, including the priest who carried on without a hitch.
Unbeknownst to Christina, her wedding photographer had captured the beautiful moment between mom and baby. After the wedding, Christina posted the sweet shot on a Facebook group called "Breastfeeding Mama Talk" where it was greeted with a slew of support and over 8000 likes. Other moms shared photos of themselves breastfeeding in their wedding gowns, too.
We love how happy and natural the bride looks in this candid snap. And are impressed that she was able to breastfeed while cinched into a strapless dress. You go, Christina!
