Fave Smash alum and Broadway star Megan Hilty, 33, welcomed her first child with hubby, Broadway actor Brian Gallagher—and it's a girl! And the name is...Viola Philomena.

Baby Viola arrived Thursday, September 18, in New York City. Megan and Brian took to Twitter to announce the big news...
The couple met two years ago at a fitness class, when they were both working on Broadway. They got married last November in Las Vegas and announced the pregnancy back in March. "2 years ago I met the man of my dreams," Megan tweeted on March 29, "and now we're proud to announce we're starting a family.

These days Megan's best known for her role as Ivy Lynn on the TV series Smash (miss!). She's also been praised for her roles as Glinda in Wicked (which I just saw in Toronto—is seriously wicked!) and Doralee Rhodes in 9 to 5: The Musical. Brian Gallagher starred on Broadway in Jekyll & Hyde and off-Broadway in The Awesome 80s Prom.
