Little girl without feet gets a puppy without a paw

Adorable three-year-old Sapphyre Johnson was born with a congenital defect that required her to have both her feet amputated when she was one. On the day she was finally able to leave the hospital—where she'd been living since she was three-months-old—she made a very special friend.

A puppy! Lieutenant Dan (Remember him? From Forrest Gump?) is an eight-week-old fur-ball who was born missing most of his right paw.

It was a match made in heaven and Sappyhre fell in love instantly saying, "Look mom, he's got a foot like mine!"
