Kelsey Grammer has welcomed his sixth child

Kelsey Grammer, 59, has six kids (y'all).

Yup, the Frasier alum welcomed a baby boy on Tuesday, July 22. This is, indeed, his sixth child—his second with wife Kayte Walsh, 34. And the baby's name is... Kelsey Gabriel Elias Grammer (because the world needs another Kelsey Grammer? Hee! I couldn't resist...).

According to Entertainment Tonight, who was the first to report the news, the baby was born at 8:28 a.m., weighing in at eight pounds, two ounces, and measuring 20.5 inches long. And it looks like he will be called by his middle name. “Our son will be called Gabriel as there is a tradition in our family of going by our middle names,” Kelsey explains.

"We are blessed and excited to have this lovely young man join our family," the couple says in a statement. "He is magnificent!"

Baby Gabriel joins Kelsey and Kayte's two-year-old daughter, Faith Evangeline Elisa, as well as Kelsey's four kids from three former relationships—Spencer, 30, Greer, 22, Mason, 12, and Jude, 9. And since Kelsey has a grandson (Spencer's son, Emmet, 2), it looks like baby Gabriel is already an...uncle? It took about three of us to figure that out, by the way. #TGIF

It hasn't been an easy road to parenthood for Kelsey and Kate. They miscarried in 2010, and their daughter Faith had a twin brother, whom they lost halfway through the pregnancy.

“I don’t take it for granted,” Kayte told People back in March. “It’s such a miracle and a gift to bring a baby into the world.”
