Kelly Clarkson pregnant! Watch her emotional announcement

Tears of joy as Kelly Clarkson reluctantly reveals on stage that she and hubby Brandon Blackstock are expecting their second child together!

"I was not planning on announcing this, but I'm totally pregnant!" the original American Idol, 33, told fans during Wednesday night's show at Los Angeles' Staples Center.

"I am having a really hard time," she shared, as she struggled to get through the song "Piece by Piece."

“I’m gonna nail the sh*t out of this song," she added, wiping away the tears! "That was not how I wanted to announce that.... I hate this song right now. My makeup artist is backstage hating me right now. I just don’t want you to think I’m on pills or drunk.”

Kelly did then get through the song, and said sorry to her husband for not sharing the news quite how they planned.

“I’d like to apologize to my husband," she said once she got through the whole song, which happens to be about how great a dad he is. "That was not planned. I just didn’t want you to think I was crazy or something. I just, honestly, am so hormonal today!"

"Nothing's wrong—everything's great," she assured the audience. "I haven’t vomited yet! That is a freakin’ win, y’all.”

Well, wow! We haven't seen anything like this before, as far as Hollywood baby announcements go. And indeed, you can always count on Kelly Clarkson for keeping it real. Gotta love her.
