Kelly Clarkson welcomes a baby girl
It's a girl for Kelly Clarkson and hubby Brandon Blackstock! Check out the baby's unique name...
It's a girl!
Kelly Clarkson, 32, welcomed a baby girl with hubby Brandon Blackstock (a talent agent and the stepson of country singer Reba McEntire), on Thursday, June 12. The Grammy award-winning original Americal Idol announced the baby's birth and unique name on Twitter:
Kelly hinted that the baby's name would be gender neutral back in December, when she appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show. "If it's a boy or a girl," she told Ellen, "[we'll use] the same name."

Baby River is Kelly and Brandon's first child together. But Kelly's no stranger to motherhood: Brandon has two kids from a previous marriage—Savannah, 11, and Seth, 7—whom Kelly proudly calls her own.
"I want two kids," she said in an interview back in October. "Two more, that is. I've already got two!"
