Kate Middleton's best maternity outfits: Royal baby No. 2
With her due date fast approaching, we've rounded up our favourite looks from the Duchess of Cambridge's second pregnancy.
You loved when we rounded up the Duchess of Cambridge's maternity clothes the first time around. So, as the royal due date fast approaches, and as Kate completes her final round of engagements before the baby arrives, we thought we'd round up some of our favourite looks so far from her second pregnancy. Enjoy!
1. Exploring menswear fabric
Where: Welcoming President Tony Tan Keng Yam of Singapore at the Royal Garden Hotel, October 2014.
What she wore: Alexander McQueen coat and Jane Taylor hat.
This outfit was a big deal because, according to Vogue, it's made of what's typically a “menswear fabric”—so, the coat was considered a “sartorial nod to her father-in-law, Prince Charles."

2. Belle of the charity ball in black
Where: Action on Addiction gala, at the Italian restaurant L’Anima, in London, October 2014.
What she wore: Black crocheted Alice Temperley dress.

3. Dreamy in ice blue
Where: Valero Pembroke Refinery in Wales, November 2014.
What she wore: Matthew Williamson coat, Hobbs dress and Aquatalia knee-high boots.

4. It's not the dress that matters...
Where: East Anglia Children’s Hospice (EACH) Appeal Launch event, in Norwich, November 2014.
What she wore: Katherine Hooker dress and Jimmy Choo heels. But, it didn't matter what Kate wore that day. The pregnant Duchess went out of her way at this event to comfort a woman who had recently lost her baby.

5. The Goat coat
Where: Northside Center for Child Development in New York City, December 2014.
What she wore: $1K Goat coat.
6. Meeting Beyoncé
Where: Brooklyn Nets versus Cleveland Cavaliers basketball game, December 2014.
What she wore: Tory Burch coat and J. Brand jeans. Kate and William delighted the crowd by meeting up with Jay-Z and Beyoncé to chat during the game.

7. Glamming it up
Where: St. Andrews 600th Anniversary Dinner, December 2014.
What she wore: Jenny Packham dress and jewels from her private collection.

8. Breezy in blue
Where: Kensington Leisure Centre, January 2015.
What she wore: Seraphine coat and floral dress.

9. The perfect canvas
Where: The new site of Ben Ainslie Racing and the 1851 Trust, in Portsmouth, England.Portsmouth, England, February 2015.
What she wore: Max Mara coat and Alice Temperley dress.
As part of the event, Kate checked out the new art mural the local youths were painting, and she joined in—scaring the art teacher who was guiding her as she took paintbrush in hand wearing that "fantastic white coat"!

10. Familiar dress
Where: Commonwealth Day Service at Westminster Abbey, March 2015.
What she wore: Alexander McQueen coat and Jane Corbett hat.
Does this dress look familiar? Kate wore the very same coat to the Trooping the Colour ceremony, in 2013.

11. Familiar dress, part 2
Where: UK’s National Portrait Gallery, March 2015.
What she wore: Hobbs Dalmation-print dress.
Yay for deja vu (again)! Kate recycled that famous Dalmation-print dress—which she had previously worn to the Princess Cruises’ ship-naming ceremony at Ocean Terminal, on June 13, 2013—for two solo art gallery engagements.

12. Downton Abbey fun!
Where: A visit to the set of Downton Abbey, at the historic Ealing Studios, in West London, March 2015.
What she wore: Jojo Maman Bebe maternity coat.

13. Royal blue & a gift from William
Where: National Service of Commemoration at St. Paul’s Cathedral, March 15. What she wore: Beulah London coat, Alexander McQueen heels and new tanzanite jewels—a rumoured gift from William.
14. Gasp! Brown on St. Patrick's Day? (Perfect)
Where: St. Patrick’s Day parade, at Mons Barracks, in Aldershot, England, March 2015.
What she wore: Catherine walker coat, Lock & Co hat, Emmy shoes and a giant shamrock—which stood out perfectly, as it should, against the deep brown coat.

15. Get it while it's hot
Where: Brookhill Children’s Centre in Woolwich, March 2015.
What she wore: $63 ASOS maternity dress and a coat by her private dressmaker.
ASOS says the dress flew off the shelves within an hour after Kate was spotted wearing in it. It'll be back in stock next week—so get your credit cards ready!
