Jessica Simpson, 34, and her new hubby, Eric Johnson, 34, have shared an intimate video of their July 5 nuptials at the San Ysidro Ranch, in Montecito, California.
The video (an exclusive for People) showcases the lavish golden details of the decor, Jessica and Eric's walk down the aisle, dad Joe Simpson introducing the bride and groom—"Mr. and Mrs. Eric Johnson!"—their march back down the aisle to the tune of the movie soundtrack from Great Expectations, the couple's close family members and friends having a lo-ho-hot of fun at the reception and, of course, Jessica's stunning custom Carolina Herrera champagne-and-gold dress (sparkly!).
The theme of the night was the movie version of Dickens' Great Expectations, and it was brought to life by event-planner-to-the-stars Mindy Weiss. "[Jessica] really wanted to have that feeling in the movie when they're dancing," Weiss tells People, alluding to Gwyneth Paltrow's and Ethan Hawke's characters in the 1998 film.
"There was green amaranthus just hanging from branches that were over the tables," Weiss shares. "It looked like a beautiful ballroom in the middle of a forest."
Alas, the video does not include a cameo of the newlywed's kids, Maxwell, 2, and Ace, 13 months. But look out for Ashlee Simpson dancing away, along with Donald Faison and wife Cacee Cobb. Enjoy....
