Justin Timberlake, 34, and wife Jessica Biel, 33, have welcomed their first child! The couple's reps have confirmed the baby's name is...Silas Randall Timberlake. Hmm, Silas is the title character of a great 19th-century novel I love—could it be an influence?
It's no mystery where Baby Timberlake's middle name comes from. Justin's dad's name is Randall, and Justin—whose full name is Justin Randall Timberlake—shares this middle name with Silas.
Jessica and Justin's reps also confirmed everyone's healthy and happy, and new dad Justin is "ecstatic." There are no more details available at this time. But we have the baby's sex and name—way more than I thought this private couple would divulge this early.
Indeed, they didn't even confirm the pregnancy until months into it, on Justin's birthday, in January. “Thank you EVERYONE for the Bday wishes!” he posted on Instagram, along with the awesome photo below. “This year, I’m getting the GREATEST GIFT EVER. CAN’T WAIT. #BoyOrGirl #YouNeverKnow#WeDontEvenKnow #WeAreTakingBets.”
And since we're stalking Justin's Instagram... Just weeks ago, he posted this funny Instagram birthday wish to Jessica...
“Happy Bday to the sweetest, most GORGEOUS, goofiest, most BAD-ASS chick I know," he captioned the photo. "You make me smile ’til it hurts. I love you like crazy."
Awww, they're actually pretty sweet together. Welcome baby Silas, and congrats to the family!
