Halle Berry and Olivier Martinez divorcing after two years of marriage

This just in: Halle Berry and her husband of two years, Olivier Martinez, are divorcing.

"It is with a heavy heart that we have come to the decision to divorce," they said in a joint statement. "We move forward with love and respect for one another and the shared focus for what is best for our son. We wish each other nothing but happiness in life, and we hope that you respect our, and most importantly our children's privacy, as we go through this difficult period."

Halle and Olivier have one son together, Maceo, 2. Halle also has a daughter with ex-boyfriend Gabriel Aubry, Nahla, 7.

You may remember the ugly custody battle Halle and Gabriel had over Nahla. Sources for TMZ are predicting this one will be smoother, since Halle isn't seeking joint or primary custody specifically, but rather, what's in "the best interests of the child." Not sure what that means, though.

In the meantime, sources for the site say the divorce was mutually decided upon—Halle filing first, citing irreconcilable differences.

"They have a personality difference," says a source, which was compounded by a recent incident at LAX airport, in which Olivier hit someone with a car seat in an effort to protect the family.

Sighh, another break-up in Hollywood. Surprised? Not really.
