Gwen Stefani
Ahh, Gwen Stefani in her Atelier Versace made everyone’s best-dressed list. “I’m so lucky to have three boys,” she told Dina Pugliese on the GRAMMYs red carpet. “They’re so much fun. It’s crazy! There are so many layers of things—having the music, and then having a family.”
Kanye West and Kim Kardashian
Ohh, Kanye, je seriously (can’t help but) t’adore. When you saw him approach Beck on the stage (one of the big moments of last night’s show!), he was apparently holding back an epic rant, which he later vocalized on camera with E! News. Here’s a snippet of it: “I got my wife, I got my daughter, I got my clothing line, so I’m not gonna do nothing to put my daughter at risk. But I am here to fight for creativity—that’s the reason why I didn’t say anything tonight. But, you all know what it meant when Ye walked on that stage.” Wow. Watch the whole rant here.
Kim Kardashian kept silent and smiled as her husband ranted—in her sparkly gold Jean-Paul Gauthier gown, which, in turn, was not received too well by our Twitter friends.
Pharrell Williams
“I usually wear shorts,” said Pharrell of his snappy Adidas ensemble. “It’s just my thing…it’s a part of my tan line. And it’s all 3M, so when the light hits it, like a flash, it all turns white, super bright white.” During last night’s red carpet, we also learned Pharrell’s son, Rocket, loves Gwen Stefani’s music—and that Gwen’s kids thought Pharrell was her boyfriend when she shared photos of the two of them together. Cute! Pharrell’s wife, Helen Lasichanh, also looked sporty and comfy in Adidas.
Madonna
No one could describe Madonna’s Givenchy couture dress better than E! News, so why try: “It’s a little nutty and a little bonkers.” Indeed, it was the perfect compliment to her matador performance.
Beyoncé
With Kanye as her No. 1 fan and ultimate defender, I dare not say a negative word about Beyoncé’s red-carpet fashion. But, I don’t have to. She looked elegant in her plunging black Proenza Schouler dress.
Josh Duhamel
Josh Duhamel shared this sweet tidbit about the origin of baby Axl’s name: “The first night [wife Fergie] felt him kick, she had this dream she was at a music festival watching Axl Rose, Jim Morrison and Bob Marley on stage at the same time.” Awesome! Josh later shared a bit of his GRAMMY experience on Instagram. “Presented at the Grammys with Julian Edelman (no selfies) and Malcom Butler,” he writes. “Great guys.”
Jennifer Hudson
Mom-of-one Jennifer Hudson lit up the red carpet in this white Tom Ford dress—“What else can I say?” she said, as she showed off the smart, strapless number. Look out for Jennifer on Broadway in The Color Purple.
Beck
Notwithstanding Kanye’s interruption, Beck’s Album of the Year acceptance speech was one the sweetest, shyest moments of the night: “We made this record at my house, for the most part,” he said. “So, I’d like to thank my kids for letting me keep them awake a little bit extra longer.” Love! Beck is photoed above with his wife, Marissa Ribisi. By the way—this just in—here’s Beck’s dignified response to Kanye’s rant.
Wiz Khalifa

Awww! Multiple GRAMMY nominee Wiz Khalifa brought his 11-month-old son, Sebastian, to the show—along with his mother. “You’re never gonna get these types of memories again, so I figured I’d just rather share them with him…have him be a part of it,” Wiz told E! News on the red carpet. “I’m with my family. I’m with who’s important.”
Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban
It was sweet to see Nicole Kidman (wearing a little black Thierry Mugler dress) and hubby Keith Urban getting quite cuddly on the red carpet.
Annie Lennox
“Take me to church!” 60-year-old mom-of-three Annie Lennox rocked the red carpet—and the stage with Hozier!—in this simple, classic black dress.
Melissa Rivers
Melissa Rivers showed up in this smart Roberto Cavalli dress—and she brought her son Cooper with her. They were there to honour Melissa’s late mother, Joan Rivers, who won a Grammy last night for Best Spoken Word Album (Diary of a Diva).
Love!
