It's finally here!!
OMG, guys. It's here—a sneak peek of the new live-action Beauty and the Beast which lands in theatres March 17, 2017. It's a short minute-and-a-half trailer that basically shows set design but it has our princess-loving hearts all aflutter. The castle looks just like it did in the original animated film from 1991. It's all happening!!
Though we just catch a quick glimpse of Belle's face, we can hear Lumiere and Cogsworth banter.
The cast? Well, it's looking pretty darn good. One of our favourite ladies, Emma Watson (perhaps better known as Hermione Granger from Harry Potter), stars as Belle alongside Dan Stevens (Downton, Night at the Museum) as the Beast/Prince Adam. Swoon.
We're pretty excited that Gandolf (er, Ian McKellan), Ewan McGregor and Emma Thompson will be lending their vocal talents, too.
There will be new songs, but Disney isn't messing with the original score (phew).
Will you be checking out this tale as old as time when it comes to theatres next year?
