Dad makes crazy cool Star Wars Lego costumes for his son

What do you get when a Lego-loving, Star Wars-crazed dad decides to put his creativity to work? Only the most incredible kid costumes ever!

Dad makes crazy cool Star Wars Lego costumes for his son

The Force is strong with this Canadian graphic designer who's created the most awesome costumes for his seven-year-old son, Caillen.

Dad Keith Sheppard's love of Lego along with his sheer creative talent result in the creation of the most detailed Lego-like suits we've seen! He spent 100 hours creating a kid-size replica of the Boba Fett suit from the Star Wars Lego collection. Made with Sintra, a lightweight PVC material, insulation foam boards, spray paint and vinyl adhesives, it's complete with a helmet, antennae, jet pack and even those classic Lego hands. Simply out of this world, the suit won first place when Caillen wore it to Burlington's Toycon convention!

But the stellar costume-making doesn't stop there. Sheppard's also created a Kenner Power Droid costume. (You remember—the little droid that made that gonk gonk sound?)

And then, there's the uber-mini, uber-adorable Tusken Raider costume (you know, the ones Luke Skywalker called Sand People). How adorable is Caillen? This kid definitely looks like he has what it takes to be a fearless Jedi knight!

But this frighteningly fantastic Lego Lord Vampyre mini-figure costume might just be our favourite:
