Chelsea Clinton pregnant with first child

Never mind the presidency, Hillary Clinton is going to be a grandma! Yes, her daughter, Chelsea Mezvinsky is preggers!

The former First Daughter, 34, and her husband, Marc Mezvinsky, are expecting their first child in the fall. Chelsea announced the news last Thursday at the Clinton Foundation's "No Ceilings: The Full Participation Project" event in New York City, which aims to encourage female leadership across the globe.

“Marc and I are very excited that we have our first child arriving later this year,” Chelsea said. “I certainly feel all the better whether it’s a girl or a boy that she or he will grow up in world filled with so many strong female leaders.”

After the event, Chelsea took to social media.

“Marc and I are so thrilled to be expecting our first child in the fall!” she tweeted. "Thank you for all of the kind words!"

Parents Bill and Hillary Clinton got their Twitter on, too.

“Excited to add a new line to my Twitter bio…grandfather-to-be!," tweeted Bill. "@HillaryClinton and I are so happy for Chelsea and Marc.”

And Hillary piped in with, "My most exciting title yet: Grandmother-To-Be! @billclinton and I are thrilled that Chelsea and Marc are expecting their first child!”

Very exciting, indeed. And they're all quite good on Twitter, aren't they? My parents should take note...
