And pregnancy agrees with Kerry Washington!

Adding to her elegant look, Kerry wore her hair back in a trendy fishtail braid and kept her makeup subtle and natural.

Indeed, Kerry had lots to glow about at the event: She won major accolades for her Scandal role—taking home the award for Outstanding Actress in a Drama Series. Scandal also scored the award for Outstanding Drama Series.

Kerry’s husband, former NFL player Nnamdi Asomugha, was not at the event. In the spirit of keeping private their life private, Kerry and Nnamdi rarely (if ever) attend big celeb events together.

In other news, it was definitely a big weekend for Kerry. Gifts were wrapped in various pastel colours, so no clues to the baby’s sex yet. Although…, sources say Kerry was wearing a pale blue dress…?

Jane Fonda blogged about the shower later that day. “I hadn’t seen Kerry since she was pregnant and as soon as I saw her with her gorgeous belly I starting crying,” she writes. “Then Kerry’s mother spoke, giving words of wisdom to Kerry and the rest of us about how to raise a baby to be a happy, fully realized, person.” Awww…, nice.
