Everyone's been talking about Benedict Cumberbatch because of his highly acclaimed performance in the hit flick The Imitation Game.

And now everyone's talking about him—indeed, "the Internet's going wild"—because he's going to be a first-time dad. Yes, Benedict and his fiancée, Sophie Hunter, are expecting their first child.

"I am delighted to confirm that Benedict Cumberbatch and Sophie Hunter are expecting their first child," Benedict's rep said in a statement. "They are both over the moon."

Benedict, 38, and Sophie, 36, announced their engagement two months ago, in a section of The Times of London entitled "Forthcoming Marriages." "Mr B.T. Cumberbatch and Miss S.I. Hunter," the announcement read. "The engagement is announced between Benedict, son of Wanda and Timothy Cumberbatch of London, and Sophie, daughter of Katharine Hunter of Edinburgh and Charles Hunter of London." Fancy!

Adorably, back in November, Benedict said his mom is eager to become a grandma. "Oh, my God," he told People. "Well, my mother is also waiting for Cumberbabies."
