Carrie Underwood welcomes her first child

"Tiny hands and tiny feet..." tweeted brand new mom Carrie Underwood earlier today (March 3, 2015). "God has blessed us with an amazing gift! Isaiah Michael Fisher - born February 27."

Yes, Grammy award-winning country singer Carrie Underwood, 31, and her husband, Canadian hockey player Mike Fisher, 34, welcomed their first child on Friday, February 27. Carrie shared the news on both Twitter and Facebook.

The couple went with a biblical name for their little guy, Isaiah, and gave him his dad's middle and last names.

If you recall (loyal Celebrity Candy readers that you are), Carrie took to social media in a seriously adorable way to announce her pregnancy back in September, tweeting an adorable pic of her pups, Ace and Penny, in blue and pink tees.

“In honor of ‘Labour’ Day,” she tweeted along with the pic, “Ace & Penny would like to make an announcement. Their parents couldn’t be happier.”
