In case you missed it, Carrie Underwood is pregnant! (I was a little busy with back-to-school and that dress to get to this story yesterday.)
The award-winning country singer (and, of course American Idol winner) is expecting her first child with her husband, Canadian hockey player Mike Fisher, in the spring. Carrie, 31, announced the big news in a fun way on Twitter, on Monday, September 1.

"In honor of 'Labour' Day," she tweeted, "Ace & Penny would like to make an announcement. Their parents couldn't be happier." Ace and Penny are, of course, the couple's adorable dogs. Here's the photo with their announcement...

Mike, 34, took to Twitter, too, to share with his fans—hinting at what the baby's name might be. “We haven’t picked names yet," he tweeted, "but it’s looking like Fly is gonna fly. #boyorgirl #flyfisher."

Carrie and Mike tied the knot in 2010. A little trivia for you: Carrie has six Grammy awards on her belt and is the first woman ever to win the Academy of Country Music's Entertainment of the Year two times.
