Pregnant! Carey Mulligan is expecting her first child

Carey Mulligan is going to be a mom! The beloved British actress and her hubby, Marcus Mumford, are expecting their first child.

I have to admit, I'm not too familiar with this British actress, star of The Great Gatsby. But the Internet and my IRL (in-real-life) colleagues are going bonkers over this news. So, I figured I'd better update you all on this latest celeb pregnancy.

Yes, Carey Mulligan and her husband, Marcus Mumford, are having a baby! This is the first child for the couple, who got married in April 2012 in front of such famous guests as Colin Firth, Jake Gyllenhaal and Sienna Miller. According to various reports, Carey's in her second trimester, about midway through the pregnancy.

The big news broke when Carey, 30, surprised everyone by looking very pregnant on the red carpet, last Sunday, June 7, at the 2015 Tony Awards—wearing this gorgeous red gown (loving the gold cuff bracelet)...

Pregnancy certainly hasn't slowed the actress down, that's for sure. During the last several months, she's been starring in Skylight, on Broadway—which ends next week—and promoting her latest flick, Far from the Madding Crowd. 

Hubby, Marcus Mumford, of Mumford & Sons, is also busy with his band's new album, Wilder Mind, and various upcoming music festivals.
