Anna Faris took to Twitter today to share this sweet pic of hubby Chris Pratt napping on the couch with their three-year-old son, Jack, who was born nine weeks premature.
I mention his premature birth because, though Anna and Chris haven't shared what Jack's issue is specifically, many preemies struggle with lazy eye—this may account for the eye-patch therapy, which Anna refers to in her tweet.
"My sweet brave men need to rest sometimes and also wear eyepatches for two hours everyday," she tweeted along with that sweetest photo ever, especially for Pratt fans, like, well, moi, who totally fell in love with him after seeing Jurassic World. (Screeeeeeeee! Bygones. I just always hear raptors when I think of that movie.)
Anna and Chris have both alluded to surgeries Jack has undergone in the past. Anna told ET Canada that Jack was to have eye surgery the day after she co-hosted the People's Choice Awards, back in January—it was the reason Chris couldn't be there to support her at the event. And Chris told reporters at a recent March of Dimes event that Jack has had numerous surgeries...
Chris has been an active voice for the March of Dimes. In a speech at one of their recent events he beamed, "Our Jack went from a strong helpless little squirt to a strong, smart, happy, funny, beautiful boy who loves monster trucks and Daniel Tiger and, believe it or not, loves vegetables."
It's just really, really, really hard not to love this family.
