Alyssa Milano shares lovely breastfeeding photo and quote
Aww, check out Alyssa Milano's adorable new baby girl.
Alyssa, 41, did share pics of now one-month-old Elizabella Dylan shortly after she was born. And, on Monday, October 27, she posted this precious black-and-white photo of the baby breastfeeding.
She captioned the photo with a lovely quote from writer Milan Kundera:
"Ah, the joy of suckling! She lovingly watched the fishlike motions of the toothless mouth and she imagined that with her milk there flowed into her little son her deepest thoughts, concepts, and dreams." —Milan Kundera
Alyssa is also mom to son Milo Thomas, and she actively advocated for breastfeeding when he was an infant, too.
“I was lucky to have a baby who from the moment he came into the world, was a pro at latching on," she said in an interview (when Milo was just three months old). "I think the thing I like best about breastfeeding is the closeness I feel to Milo and knowing that he’s getting the best of me."
In other Alyssa Milano news... The actress will not be reprising her Mistresses role in the show's third season—the reason she gave was wanting to focus on motherhood and her marriage.
“It’s with a heavy heart that I have decided that I can’t relocate,” she announced recently on her official website. “Being a mother and wife comes first and I just cannot uproot my children and separate the family by moving away.”
