It's a Gilmore boy!
You guys, Rory Gilmore is a mom. Sorry, that's not a spoiler for the upcoming Gilmore Girls revival. I mean Alexis Bledel (aka Rory) has officially become a parent. And it was her co-star, Scott Patterson (aka Luke Danes), who confirmed the news.
"It was great to see her," he told Glamour magazine of filming the four new episodes of Gilmore Girls. "She's really blossomed as a woman and now she's a proud new mother and married and happy."
The actress' rep confirmed that Alexis and her husband Vincent Kartheiser (of Mad Men fame) welcomed a baby boy last fall. Yes, Rory Gilmore has been a mom for months and we had no idea. There were pregnancy rumours back in November, but little did we know that Alexis was already a mom.
No word on a name. Maybe it's Dean, Jess or Logan? Putting my bias in, but I hope it's Logan.
Scott went on to say that Rory is "the apple of my eye" and that Luke has always felt like she's his daughter. Here's hoping she's officially his step-daughter in the new episodes. And Scott, of course, is excited to be working with Alexis again.
"We're comparing notes because my son is about a year and a half older than her young son. I’m showing her photos and videos and what to expect. We're just really enjoying each other’s company."
So sweet. It's like Gilmore Girls meets Parenthood!
