Hello! Love the new song. Love that Adele is back in the spotlight. (But, can't sing "Hello" in my head without Adele morphing into Lionel Richie. It's a problem.)

Adele, 27, is making headlines today for doing her first magazine interview in three years, since her son, Angelo, was born—and it was hella worth waiting for.

"[Parenting] is f**king hard," Adele tells i-D Magazine. "I thought it would be easy, 'Everyone f**king does it, how hard can it be?' Ohhhh..."

"I had no idea," she continues, "It is hard but it's phenomenal. It's the greatest thing I ever did. He makes me be a d**khead, and he makes me feel young and there's nothing more grounding than a kid kicking off and refusing to do what you're asking of them. It used to be that my own world revolved around me, but now it has to revolve around him."

She's just so darn poetic! I mean, they do that: Kids "make us be a d**khead." There's no shame in admitting that. I was a d**ckhead just last night, in fact, because I was exhausted and my kids made me make their lunches and read to them and break up spats—and I was kind of a d**khead! Heh.

Adele doesn't mention boyfriend Simon Konecki or their three-year-old son specifically in the interview, but she does allude to them, saying her focus on family had a big influence on the making of her third album, 25.

"I think the album is about trying to clear out the past," she tells the mag. "Becoming a parent and moving past my mid-twenties, I simply don't have the capacity to worry about as many things that I used to really enjoy worrying about."

"I used to f**king love the drama of all of it," she adds, "but now I'm a mum I only have so much head space. I've got to clear a lot of stuff the f**k out, which is really therapeutic, 'cause I can really hold a grudge. Life is so much easier when you don't hoard your past."

So true... Maybe that's what they really mean by "mom brain." There's simply no space left for the small stuff.

Look out for 25 when it's released Nov. 20. Can't wait! Indeed, the album's hit single "Hello," already killed it with 27.7 million views on Vevo (move over, Taylor Swift!).
