Adele gets real about her pregnancy beard

Hello, it's Larry.

As if Adele wasn't already the coolest person around (have you read her rant on breastfeeding pressure?!), she just revealed to concert-goers in Glasgow that she had a pregnancy beard.

“When I got pregnant I had so much testosterone in me that I grew a beard," she says. “I only cropped it last night. It’s actually true. I’m not telling a joke. I actually have a beard, but I’m proud of it. I call it Larry.”

Why hello, Larry.

I love how real Adele is. Most people openly talk about how awesome pregnancy is for your hair. The increased levels of estrogen and androgen give you some seriously luscious locks.

But it also means hair starts growing in some unwanted places—your belly, your nipples and your FACE! And that's how Larry was born.

Thankfully, Adele wasn't the only hairy one during her pregnancy with son, Angelo.

“My man’s got a good beard. He trims it sometimes in the summer. I do have a beard myself so I can understand when it gets hot in the summer.”

Oh, Adele.

I wonder, now that she's cut Larry off, does he ever call her and say "Hello from the other side."
