The struggle is real: Ryan Reynolds versus Ikea crib

Despite looking flawless on the latest cover of GQ, Ryan Reynolds proves that he is human. In fact, he is just like every other dad when it comes to assembling baby furniture.

In this behind-the-scenes video from his shoot, Ryan struggles to put together an IKEA crib for James—his sweet baby girl with Blake Lively.

Ryan’s patience slowly starts to fade as he attempts to assemble “over a hundred thousand pieces.” He even calls customer service for help. Eventually, frustration leads Reynolds to ignore the instructions and try something faster and easier: duct tape.

The assembled crib doesn’t look very safe, Ryan! But James is lucky to have such a determined daddy. I bet she’s already a daddy’s girl!
