Groupe Lemur Inc. has recalled various Pekkle Baby Sleepers with metal snaps.

Update from Health Canada: Groupe Lemur Inc. has recalled various Pekkle Baby Sleepers with metal snaps. The sleepers come in six sizes for 3 months, 6 months, 9 months, 12 months, 18 months and 24 months. The recall was issued because the metal snaps on the sleepers may detach or fall off resulting in a choking or laceration hazard for children.
The following lots with these fabric patterns are included in the recall:
The lot number can be found on the label sewn in to the inside of the left leg of the sleeper.
As of May 8, three reports of incidents in Canada have been received by the company, including one report of a laceration injury to an infant.
Approximately 79,305 units of the affected products were sold in Canada at Costco retail stores between March 2017 to April 2017 (lot number C62 sleepers) and between February 2017 to April 2017 (lot number C63 sleepers).
What should you do?
If you have an affected sleeper, you should immediately stop using it and return the affected product to the nearest Costco Wholesale location to receive a full refund.

Coscto Canada is voluntarily pulling Pekkle baby sleepers from its shelves after a complaint in mid-April that a snap fell off and scratched a child.
“We pulled out the product and notified Health Canada and the supplier, and then we’re expecting directions from Health Canada,” Costco spokesperson Ron Damiani said. So far Health Canada has not announced an official recall of the sleepers, but they are reviewing the case. We will update you if there is an announcement from Health Canada.
If you have a Pekkle sleeper, you should stop using it. Costco has not said if they will be offering refunds for the Pekkle sleepers.
