Health Canada has announced a major recall of the UPPAbaby Stroller Bumper Bar due to a choking hazard risk. 8,000 strollers affected in Canada, 71,000 in the U.S.
Health Canada has announced a major recall of the UPPAbaby Stroller Bumper Bar, which is sold with the 2015 VISTA and 2015 CRUZ Strollers, and the 2015 Rumble Seat.
Infants can chew into the polyurethane foam on the bumper bar, making it a choking hazard.
This recall affects strollers sold from January 1st, 2015 to July 2015. 8,000 affected products have been sold in Canada, and a staggering 71,000 in the U.S. Here's a list of affected products, via Health Canada.
Photo: Health CanadaThere have been no reports of incidents or injuries connected to this recall in Canada. But, UPPAbaby was notified of 22 incidents in which foam pieces were bitten off the bars. Thankfully, there have been no injuries.
