Lorex Technology, Inc. has recalled their Lorex Care "N" Share video baby monitors due to a potential burn hazard, resulting from the batteries in the affected monitors overheating and expanding.

The affected model numbers are: WL3520, WL4320 or WL3401 on the back panel sticker of the monitor. The affected baby monitors were sold alone or in bundles with other products, such as cameras. Approximately 8,000 units of the affected monitors were sold in Canada, and approximately 26,000 units were sold in the United States, between May 2013 and April 2016.

Although Health Canada has not received any reports of consumer incidents or injuries related to the use of these baby monitors, Lorex Technology, Inc. has received 425 reports from the U.S. and Canada of batteries overheating and expanding.
