Dr. Alex Hutchinson

Alex is an author and journalist in Toronto, Ontario. He is a contributing editor at Outside, a columnist at the Globe and Mail, and a senior editor at Canadian Running. 

Alex started out as a physicist, with a ph.D from the University of Cambridge, then a few years as a postdoctoral researcher with the U.S. National Security Agency where he worked on quantum computing and nanomechanics.
