iCandy Cherry model strollers have been recalled due to entrapment or strangulation risk.
Health Canada has announced a recall involving iCandy strollers. The strollers pose a risk of entrapment or strangulation. The gap between the seat and the bumper bar of the "Cherry" model (in colours "Fudge" and "Licorice," as pictured left) is too large — the baby can pass through it and get caught at the neck, if not belted in.
See Health Canada notice for complete list of affected models.
This stroller has been sold across Canada from August 2009 to December 2012. Thankfully, no incidents have been reported.
If you have this stroller:
Remove the bumper bar immediately, and contact iCandy for your replacement bar: 1-877-484-4179 or info@icandyamerica.com. For more information, see the website's "Important Safety Information iCandy Cherry" page.
