There’s nowhere else I’d rather be.

I'm raising my daughter on the reservation because I want her to grow up knowing that “rez life” is a beautiful life.

After adopting my daughter, I was committed to helping her grow up to be a proud Indigenous woman. And in the process, I became one, too.

I was fortunate to get quick and effective treatment for my post-partum anxiety. But many Indigenous women, however, aren’t so lucky.
