RECALL: Tots in Mind crib and play-yard tents

A voluntary recall has been issued involving crib tents and play-yard tents by Tots in Mind, Inc.. Consumers and caregivers are being warned that these tents may cause serious injury and even death from strangulation or entrapment.

Tots in Mind and Health Canada originally recalled the play yard tents in July 2010, but Tots in Mind has since gone out of business, so they have not been issuing necessary repair kits. Do not try to repair the the tents on your own.

The tents have been sold at various retailers, including Bed Bath & Beyond/Buy Buy Baby, Burlington Coat Factory, Toys "R" Us/Babies R Us, Walmart and Amazon.com.
