RECALL: Topeak Babyseat(TM) II Bicycle Carrier Seats

The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission is reporting the recall of Topeak Babyseat™ II Bicycle Carrier Seats.

Children can put their fingers in the opening around the grab bar's hinge (indicated in the photo). If the adult lifts the grab bar to take the child out of the seat, the child's fingertips can get stuck in the hinge, posing a laceration or amputation hazard.

This baby seat has been sold in retail stores and online in Canada — January 2009 to April 2012.

If you have this item, stop using it immediately and contact Todson to get a free hinge cover kit:(800) 250-3068 or todson.com.
