Let the kids get creative this year. Host up to 10 kids for an hour and 45 minutes ($199) where they can test drive their artistic painting skills in a studio, as opposed to ruining the house.
Package upgrades include a themed party (50), a decorated birthday platter for the special kid (50) and themed ballons for everyone ($5/ per child).
Depend on the laser dome for an epic bash, with a glow in the dark laser tag option no kid can resist. A jungle space with slide, rope walkways and a clubhouse this one is at the top of our list. For an A list exclusive experience you can rent out the entire dome for (475/ hr). Don’t worry there are plenty of packages offered should you forgo the previous option! They range from $279-499, each with different features.
All packages run for approx. 2 hours and include freshly baked pizza’s, with pop and juice.
The base level package, for ages 4-10, includes 1 hour of play plus a bonus 15 min play and 45 minutes in the decorated party room.

The edge rock climbing
Book your next birthday party at the Edge. Staff will provide introductions to climbing with the 1 ½ hour climbing sessions. They supply the equipment, manage the ropes and take care of all the safety issues.
This fun activity is suitable for all ages. There is a three-person minimum at $26 per climber.
However, the kids can also go in pairs ($32 each) or alone ($54).
A private party lounge is included in the package- available for use after climbing and a choice of inviation to send out.
The reptile guyBring the jungle to you! The reptile guy offers a hands-on learning experience about reptiles and other animals up close. A 1 hour session sees anywherre from12-15 animals for a cost of $200, or you can spend 2 hours with 20-25 animals for $300. Science world offers 4 different packages based on age, from their toddlers party to their chemistry party there is an appropriate theme to accommodate all ages. Costs start at $223 for non-members for the Toddler Party and go up to $319 for the base package for the others. Up to 10 kids can enjoy full day admission along with a fully decorated party room and a meal for each guest for the older kids’ parties.

From December to April, kids can swoosh down the hills at Mt. Seymour’s tobogganing and snowtubing birthday parties, or they can explore the forest and trails at a snowshoe party. Packages include three-hour yurt rental, lunch and two hours of activity for 16 guests. The cost is $291 for the tobogganing party, $383 for the snowtubing party and $466 for the snowshoeing party. Each part type has separate fees for additional part guests but, for an extra $55 you can upgrade your party to the Loft . Parents can bring a cake or other celebratory dessert, but all other food must be ordered through the resort.

If squishy sea cucumbers and sticky sea anemones fascinate your child (age four and up), then you’ll want to book Vancouver Aquarium’s Splash of A Birthday Party. Kids will get to touch the aforementioned creatures in the Wet Lab, tour through the jellyfish hallway, and the birthday kid then gets to feed the fish in the Strait of Georgia Pacific Canada Pavilion. Then, it’s time to eat cake and open presents in the decorated private party room. No outside food or balloons is allowed, but a chocolate or vanilla cake decorated as one of your choice of several sea dwellers is included in the package at a price of $485 for non-members.

Kids age six to 12 can try their hand at activities like aerial silks, trampoline and juggling at Vancouver Circus School parties to celebrate their friend’s special day, and the birthday kid also gets to give the swinging trapeze a try! After the big-top fun is done, everyone can hang out in the party area for cake and presents. Prices range from $300 to $500.

A Tumblebus is a big res bus that’s turned into a mobile gym. You can host the party from anywhere you’d like. Instructors will facilitate activities suitable to the age group of the children. The bus comes equipped with monkey bars, rings and trampoline. Instructors will lead a warm up, a game or two (depending on time), zipline and cool down. There are a variety of packages to choose from with the single basic package price starting at $280 for a group of 12 kids, with each additional kid charged $12. Packages range in size, hours and features. Either way the kids are sure to have a fun time.
Shiver me timbers! Get ready for an epic sailing adventure with Pirate Adventures Vancouver. There are four swashbuckling options to choose from, but all include 75 minutes of sailing on a pirate ship (complete with fighting Pirate Pete and hunting for treasure), face painting, pirate costumes and on-board theatrics with a pirate version of “Happy Birthday”. Rates start at $499.99 for up to 20 guests and go up to $1229.99 for a private cruise for up to 42 guests. On private tours, you can bring in outside food. Pirate Adventures Vancouver’s boat sails seven days a week from May 15 to Oct. 4.
