Sabra has recalled 30,000 cases of its Classic Hummus due to listeria concerns. But don't panic, the recall is only in the United States, not Canada.
Sabra is voluntarily recalling over 30,000 cases of hummus sold in the United States. The retailer made the decision after a sample tested positive for Listeria.
Five products are affected by the recall, none of which were sold in Canada.
According to the FDA, there have been no reported illnesses from the product. Listeria can cause severe headaches, nausea, diarrhea, fever and stiffness. But in pregnant women, it can cause miscarriage and stillborn births.
If you have this product: If you bought one of the recalled products, you should throw it out or return it to the grocery store for a full refund or exchange.
